Interview With Jill Wagner | Mystery 101 An Education In Murder

Mercy: For those who haven't seen any, can you share a little bit about your character on Mystery 101?
Jill: Amy Winslow is a professor who teaches crime fiction and has a bit of a super power in being able to help the local law enforcement solve local cases.

Mercy: What do you enjoy most about portraying Amy Winslow?
Jill: I watched Murder She Wrote with my grandma growing up, this show is in the same vein and I love that there is always a bit of action as well.

Mercy: What do you like to do on-set in your free time?
Jill: I have no free time. My schedule is pretty hectic when I shoot, 12-16 hour days, I’m in most of the scenes so there isn’t a lot of down time. During my lunch I talk to my husband on the phone :-)

Mercy: Is there a fun on-set/behind-the-scenes story you can share from Mystery 101?
Jill: We are always having fun and cutting up. I don’t recall every detail but our set is always full of laughs and good times.

Mercy: What is the most rewarding aspect of being an actress?
Jill: That I sincerely love what I do. I love going to work and I love the people I work with and for. I think when you love your job that shows you are right where you are supposed to be.

Mercy: If you could play any role in any movie from the past, what would it be?
Jill: Scarlett O’Hara from Gone With The Wind.

Mercy: Can you share a little bit about Mystery 101: An Education In Murder?
Jill: There is a huge shocking moment in this episode people won’t want to miss! That’s all I will say.

Mercy: Any other upcoming projects?
Jill: I am having a baby so that is my latest project! Hahahaha
I will be filming more Mystery 101 shortly after baby girl arrives and I also have another exciting announcement but I can’t say anything as of yet, but soon.

Keep up with Jill-
