Celtic Thunder Ireland Cd/DVD | Review

Hey, folks!  I was among the many (I've not a doubt!) who were elated to hear that Celtic Thunder would be doing another tour this year.
While saddened that they didn't go on the road last year, I completely understand and support the need to take time off from what is a very busy and hectic schedule.
With the announcement of a new tour, they also let us know that it would one of honoring Ireland and their beautiful heritage!
I recently received the new dvd/cd which is simply and beautifully titled Ireland

Now for those of you wondering, the dvd is not a newly recorded project but rather a gathering of songs sung by Celtic Thunder on all their different projects over the past ten years honoring Ireland, and put together on one magnificent project! You'll even get to see previous members on some of these like George (yay!)... what a wonderful thing it is to see Celtic Thunder continuing to honor him. And Colm, who is still one of my personal favorites.

Ireland is filled with fan-favorite songs like Mull Of Kintyre, A Bird Without Wings, Steal Away, Caledonia, The Rocky Road To Dublin, Danny Boy, and one of my all time favorites My Land.
These songs will probably bring a bit of nostalgia for many of us, as some haven't been sung in years.

Filled with songs that make you smile, laugh, possibly bring a tear, fill you with some pride for Ireland (and if you aren't Irish make you wish you were), Ireland is a dvd that is for sure on the "keep" shelf!
