Never Miss by Melissa Koslin | Review

~ Review of Melissa Tagg's Now And Then And Always ~

I really, really enjoyed getting the opportunity to read an advanced copy of this new book by Melissa Tagg - Now And Then And Always!

You know that author that you just know her books are going to be good?! That's Melissa Tagg for me.  Hers are some of the first I reach for heading to bed, relaxing, road tripping (you guys are probably getting the idea 😉 haha).

Now And Then And Always tells the story of Mara, a former nanny taking care of a beat-up bed and breakfast for her friend and bed and breakfast owner Lenora; and Marshall, a police detective on leave who's still reeling from the loss of his daughter two years earlier. What started as him staying for one night at the old B&B ends up being a journey for the two of them, restoring the B&B and helping each other heal.  Now, before we're even really started I just have got to put this out there, this books is a 10/10 in my book.
I can't wait to read the next book in this series as I'm sure its going to be fabulous.  Melissa always delivers romantic, comedic storylines as well as character-growth. which I absolutely love.

As I mentioned in a short social media post I already made, this has a bit of a more serious storyline but still has all the classic movie references & humor that fans of Melissa have come to know and love. :).
Another really interesting part of this book to me was the friendship of the main characters.  One of the things I look for in a book is good friendships and let me tell you, this book is filled with them! Here's one of my favorite quotes- "This small group of friends had something she wanted. They were knit together. The knew each other's wounds. They saw deeper and held tighter."

I don't want to ruin this book for anyone that hasn't read it yet so SPOILER ALERT-
Theres several reunions in this book that well, quite honestly had me crying.  Few books made me cry but those reunions and just several parts in the book actually made me cry. Kudos to you, Melissa, for writing such amazing books!

So, If you haven't yet, I would strongly encourage you to pre-order this amazing book! It's available from Amazon, Barnes & Nobles and all of your favorite online retailers! So, what are you even waiting for? Go order this book that will break your heart and then put it back together. 💜

Thanks for reading!
