My Dear Miss Dupre | Review

Review of Irene Hannon's Driftwood Bay

I really enjoyed reading Irene Hannon's newest release, Driftwood Bay.  Driftwood Bay is, I believe, number 7 in the Hope Harbor series.

I have read several other's in the Hope Harbor series, so it was fun to see some of the continuation of their lives.  The story itself centers around Jeanette Mason, who has suffered a major tragedy in her past and Dr. Logan West who is learning how to cope with raising his niece on his own.  Although sparks ignite early on, it takes awhile for Jeanette to allow Logan and his niece, Molly, to get close.  A family fleeing a war in Syria is one of the things God uses to bring them together.  Not to mention the niece and a very active dog, Toby.
Prepare to have Molly tug on your heart strings.
Of course Charlie is still in town dispensing advice from his taco truck.  He is one of my favorite characters.
I am sure readers of previous Hope Harbor books will enjoy this new story as well as those who have never read a single book in the series.  I do recommend you read the others too!
