Celtic Thunder Christmas Dvd Review!

Hey y'all!  I am so excited to be back sharing another Celtic Thunder dvd review with you guys!
Christmas is one of my favorite times of year and I listen to Christmas music all year long, and you probably guessed it- Celtic Thunders Christmas projects are some of my absolute favorites to listen to! :)
I only recently got the chance to watch their Christmas dvd and let me tell you, its awesome!  From the music, the stage decor, the band, to the lad's harmony, it has to be one of their best productions!

Let me give you the set list and then I'll share my favorite parts.

2. Christmas Morning Donegal
3. Winter Wonderland
4. Amazing Grace
5. Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow
6. Last Christmas

8. Going Home For Christmas
9. Our First Christmas Together
10. Christmas 1915
11. Baby, It's Cold Outside

14. The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year / We Wish You A Merry Christmas

Bonus Material
Christmas 1915 Music Video
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
The Making Of Holiday Symphony

And now for my favorite parts.

Amazing Grace - They are so many wonderful versions of this hymn but Celtic Thunder's is one of the best.  The harmony they have on this song is amazing.
Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow - I mean come on, who isn't a fan of this classic Christmas song?!  Ryan does a fantastic job on this, adding his own style to it.
Going Home For Christmas - This is the perfect song to feature George and it is one we play over and over.  Reminds me somewhat of the song- "I'll Be Home For Christmas" but to me a slightly more joyful take on being home for Christmas.
Baby, It's Cold Outside  - Again, another song that's just fun.  There are so many different versions of this song, from versions back in the 1950s to modern artists still doing covers of it.  Ryan does a superb duet with Belinda.
I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday - This has to be one of my favorite songs George ever sang.  I'm admittedly a Christmas freak so this song describes my feelings perfectly! :)
The Making Of Holiday Symphony - It was fun to see "behind the scenes" of the making of Holiday Symphony.

As I mentioned above, I'm really big on Christmas so this dvd is played a lot and one that I'd definitely recommend you get.  Perfect to play while decorating your Christmas tree in December ( or beginning of November if you're like me 😉 ) or if you're in the mood for Christmas some other time of the year, just pop in the Celtic Thunder Christmas dvd and it'll feel like Christmas is here!  One last thing I have to mention is the wonderful backdrops etc. for this show.  Celtic Thunder is known for always doing a wonderful production and this dvd is no different.

If you'd like to order a copy, head over to Celtic Thunder's website and get yourself one!
